Lakes Bowl wins 3rd Annual LCBA Baker team tournament

The team of Lakes Bowl bested the field after one final gme of position round match play in the 3rd annual LCBA Baker Team Tournament. After 16 games of Qualifying, Bertrand Lanes was in the lead. The top 4 teams then went into Match play, consisting of lakes Bowl (2nd), Paddock Lounge (3rd) and Bertrand Lounge (4th) to go into match play. Lakes bowl finished strong with a 244 game in the final match against Bertrand Lanes to take home the first place prize.

Lakes Bowl started strong in first place but soon fell short trailing by 100 pins to Bertrand Lanes going into the 6th set. Ending in the 8th set, Lakes Bowl was still down by 100 pins. During the round robin match play, Lakes Bowl secured some bonus pins while defeating their opponents. Going into the championship game Lakes Bowl was still trailing Bertrand Lanes by almost 60 pins with some handicap. Lakes Bowl started very strong with 5 in a row then a split, back at it with a few more strikes. Lakes finished before Bertrand and the energy was strong, a 244 game and Lakes Bowl knew exactly what Bertrand had to bowl in order to win the tournament. Finally Bertrand had a great chance to come strong and beat Lakes bowl but fell short. The camaraderie was great and everyone had a great time. Lakes Bowl beat Bertrand by a mere 12 pins.
This was by far one of the funnest experiences we had, a huge thanks to Lakes Bowl for hosting the event and the LCBA for running it. Great job everyone. I myself had a very good time!
