August Edholm / Waukegan, IL / Meritorious Service

Bowling in Lake County for over 40 years, Augie carried a 200+ average for over 20 years. Augie’s career highlights include a doubles tournament record score of 792. He also was the first secretary of the Waukegan/Lake County Bowling Association for 15 years.

Albert “Abe” Johnson / Waukegan, IL / Performance

Abe was a sanctioned bowler in Lake County for over 30 years, averaging 200 or better for most of those years. Add to that, thirty 700 series, a sanctioned 299, two seconds and a fourth place finish in the LCBA Singles Championship Tournament. He also was a member of the LCBA board for 20 years and spent his free time coaching local junior bowlers.

Tony Russell / Waukegan, IL / Performance

With a high game of 300 and a high series of 780, Tony was a great tournament bowler with two LCBA Championship Tournament Singles titles and a Master’s title. A coach for the AJBC, Tony was the proprietor of O’Farrell’s Rec Room from 1950-55.
